This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to rebuild a modern HR operation within the structural limits of Civil Service. The new HR Administrator will have the opportunity to work with the County Administrator, department heads, and Civil Service to expand programs for staff training and development, labor relations, and explore collaboration or integration with payroll and benefits – including the opportunity to help switch to automated time and attendance. Ongoing projects include 2 union negotiations, and a compensation study to set internal and external pay equity for non-bargaining employees.
